    Onion scape and radish salad with honey mustard vinaigrette and grilled pizza

    Did you know you could eat onion scapes? Do you know what an onion scape is? I didn’t until recently! I had heard of garlic scapes from Willi Galloway’s post on Diggin Food about them, but I always grow softneck garlic for braiding and I don’t think those get scapes on them. This is the first year I have grown onions, and I didn’t know they got scapes, so when they appeared, I did a quick internet search to see if I could eat them.
