If you participated in #virtualfrocktails back on April 4th, you may have seen this Colette Patterns Negroni I made for this handsome fella. Matt and I posted a pic of ourselves and did a little IG live in our #quarantinelife attire. It made me realize I hadn’t blogged about either of our recent flannel makes. Matt’s Birthday Negroni #2
Happy September! Summer feels like it flew by and already the signs of fall are beginning to show; it’s getting dark earlier and the evenings are starting to get chilly. I can’t complain though—I love the changing of the seasons and I’ve had a pretty good summer full of gardening, backyard barbecues, some sewing and knitting, a couple of fun weekend getaways, a garden tour and my annual Chicken Bingo birthday party. I love summer and being outdoors, but I look forward to fall and getting to slow down and head back indoors. It means I can focus more on sewing, knitting AND catching up on blog posts! Matt’s Birthday Negroni Shirt
Once again, I have been a bit absent on this blog lately. Between ukulele lessons on Tuesday nights (plus practice throughout the week) and my knitting group on Wednesday nights and then trying to get some exercise occasionally and balance family life (in-laws were in town, Matt turned 40), I have been BUSY! 2015 is shaping up to be an awesome year so far, so these are good problems to have.
